Meet Our Staff

Rev. Dr. Steven F. Pace
Senior Pastor

Pastor Steven F. Pace is originally from Columbia, SC. Steven has a degree in Business as well as a Bachelor’s in Biblical Studies, a Master of Theological Studies, and a Doctorate in Theology (Th.D.). Pastor Steven has taken courses from Columbia International University, Andersonville Theological Seminary, and Moody Bible Institute.

Steven’s primary focus is on proclaiming Christ Jesus and the gospel through prayer and the teaching of God’s Word. He also enjoys ministering through various pastoral care ministries and oversight of the local church.
Pastor Steven provides verse-by-verse Bible teaching, believing that God’s Word is truth and the sole means of sanctification for the believer (John 17:17). He believes that having a thorough knowledge of God’s Word will result in the believer being equipped to do the work of ministry (Eph. 4:11-12), as well as have a daily walk that is worthy of the Lord (Eph. 4:1).

Steven has served at First Baptist Columbia, as well as Pastor of Bethune Baptist Church. Steven and his wife, Merritt, have one son, Samuel. Steven enjoys reading, sports, and time with family.
