     Patrick Clark -  Pastor

Pastor Patrick is from Lancaster and was called to serve as pastor at New Hope November of 2010.  He married his high school sweetheart, Kelly in 1992 and they have been blessed with two beautiful teenage daughters.  
Their family is very excited the Lord has called them and privileged them to serve their own people group after 9 years overseas serving the Lord among unreached peoples.
Patrick holds undergraduate degrees in Engineering and Business Administration, along with a M. Divinity from Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary.  
His heart is to make, equip, and nurture disciples of Jesus to BE faithful witnesses who are enjoyers of God and extenders of His glory to ALL peoples.

   Tonya Hunter - Music Minister

Born in Dillon, South Carolina, my family moved to Kershaw, SC, in 1976 when my dad was called to serve as pastor of Haile Gold Mine Baptist Church where he served for 17 years.  I am the wife of Randy Hunter, and the mother of two precious children, Tiffany, age 8, and Evan, age 3.  

 

In addition to serving as Music Minister of New Hope Baptist Church, I also serve as the assistant principal of Kershaw Elementary School.  I am a graduate of The University of South Carolina where I received a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Masters Degree in Early Childhood Education.  I received certification in Leadership and Administration from Winthrop University.  I have previously served as Minister of Music of Sand Hill Baptist Church in Kershaw and Flat Creek Baptist Church in Kershaw.  

 

Our family enjoys music!  Randy sings bass and plays the acoustic, electric and bass guitars.  Randy has been a member of several southern gospel groups including the Praisemen Quartet and The Americans Quartet.  I play piano, and Tiffany is a piano student.  Both Tiffany and Evan love to play the shakers and tambourine.  We also love camping, four-wheeling and Gamecock football!    

 

 Randy and I count it a joy to be able to use our God-given talents to uplift our precious Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  It is  an honor and a blessing to serve with the many talented musicians at New Hope Baptist Church.  Our prayer is that God will use us in a mighty way at New Hope Baptist Church.  It is our desire that we will always bring honor to Him through this music ministry.
