One in Christ, one with Christ, one for Christ

Pre-school Ministry

Dear Parents,

What a privilege it is to have your child in our preschool. Our Preschool childcare programs are a top priority at New Hope Baptist Church.

We know how important your children are to you and, if at all possible, we would like to tell you they are just as important to us. Our desire is to be an expansion of you in taking care of these precious “Little Ones”.

Care is provided for all Sunday  Worship Services (morning & evening) and Wednesday Evening Services.

We thank God for the growing number of children that He has blessed us with. We thank God for our children’s activities and encourage you to invite other children to be part of our children’s activities.

If you have any questions concerning any part of our Preschool Ministries, please feel free to ask.

We are grateful for the opportunity to minister to your children. As you look over these guidelines, please remember that they are in place so we can do our very best to take good care of your children while you participate in the services.

Kerri Baker

Schedule of Preschool Services

Sunday School each Sunday morning at 10am.

Toddler Church is directed by Kerri Baker during each Sunday morning worship. Toddler Church is for ages 2 through 4 years of age.

Baby Nursery is available for both morning and evening worship services on Sunday.

Guidelines

· In order to provide a safe environment in our Nursery and Preschool Departments, we ask that you sign in your child and sign out when you pick up your child.

· Be sure to list any instructions that would help our staff care for your child.

· Please do not go into the nursery or classroom areas, as this may cause harm to a child and create disorder. Our staff will assist your child upon arrival and dismissal.

· Please label all of your child’s belongings, such as diaper bags, bottle, cups, pacifiers, etc.

· To avoid congestion in the Nursery and Preschool areas, we ask that only one parent come to drop off or pick up your child.

· Please wait until the end of the service to pick up your child. Early pick up is very disruptive to the other children.

Nursing Mothers

Nursing mothers should check on their babies between services unless a supplement has been provided. We welcome nursing mothers in the Infant Nursery to nurse your baby.

Illness

In order to protect all children please do not leave a child in the nursery that is ill or has been ill within the previous 24 hours. Please do not leave your child if any of the following conditions exist:

    1. Fever of 100 degrees or higher (Must be  fever free without the use of Tylenol)

    2. Vomiting or diarrhea

    3. Common cold - runny nose or eyes, coughing or sneezing.

    4. Any other childhood diseases (chicken  pox, measles), unexplained rashes or contagious conditions.

You will be notified immediately if your child becomes ill or in the event of an accident.
